A review in 2002 found that the Trust had established an efficient management and working structure and a supportive membership, providing a secure base from which develop to its role as a centre of expertise for all those interested in the enjoyment and protection of London’s historic green open spaces. Clear aims have been established (Figure 1) and strategies developed to ensure the Trust’s position as an effective body in the promotion and protection of London’s historic open spaces. Subgroups were appointed to carry out the work of the Trust as described and delegated by the Council, reviews to take place on a regular basis (Figure 2).
